Am a Happy-Go-Lucky guy. I take life as it comes. Cherish in the company of my friends and like making new friends. No qualms about the fact that I dont like working hard. Girls are one topic, am always ready to discuss about. But when they do come in front of me, become tight lipped and my eyes see just the ground. n thats me...

Three Long Years!

Ahh! Been three years now since I wrote anything.

I will start with, what all has changed in the last three years. This itself may take two-three posts.

Lst time I wrote on blogger, I was working as a Software Engg in CSC, Noida. Lots of good things happened while in CSC. First, i got all the development related projects while I was there. -- (I hate being given a support project to work in) --

Two years back, I got married to a simple girl. It was an arranged marriage. :-)

After 6 months of getting married, I went to London for a 7 months assignments. The visit was really nice, both on personal front as well as on my professional side. I got to learn quite a lot from my seniors there. There were people from every continent in the world; There were contractors from Nigeria and Egypt, a Chinese HRM guy, an American DBA, a Gujju PM, my Indian colleagues and, ofcourse, some Britishers. I got to have a first hand experience of an ERP Implementation. My client was a Car-glass manufacturer of Britain.

I got a chance to see a lot of Central London. We also went for a trip to Scotland - Edinburgh. Beautiful landscape that was!

We went to see Calton Hill, North Berwick beach, Numerous Castles, The main Church of Edinburgh (it was "Easter" and we were in a church for the first time that day.. amazing experience that was!!), Arthur's Seat and some more sites.. (there were numerous of them.. )

I will post the photos of Scotland some day..

I suppose I shall take a break and conclude the rest in my next blog.

Hey frenz, just wake up, lets start a protest march on some "Marg", so that we may be noticed may be 10 janpath, or Bahahdur shah zafar marg, or some other busy road..

Just a kewl start..

Now that I've finally jumped into this grand arena of blogging, have to write something.. Well, first blog, so plz spare me, am not at blogging.. Have read quite a few blogs lately, so just thought of writing something.. Me at my workplace currently, doing just nothing.. Am a big lazy person.. Working as a software Engg.. Share all the common atributes, this community shares.. like, going office late, checking mails/fwds from my gr8 friends who never forget adding my name in their long chain mail lists, coming from office late, being online most of time, and sleeping problems.. But this sleeping problem, I discovered only after I switched my company from an Indian company to an MNC. Yes, the biggest attribute of Software Enggineers is of switching jobs, regularly.. Infact, a software engg.'s work experience should be known not by no. of yrs he spent in this industry, but the no. of times he has switched the companies.. A govt servent cannot even dream of jumping from one company to another as fast as we ppl do.. isn't, what say junta..

So I was telling that I actually discovered my sleeping problem when I joined this lovely MNC.. I say Lovely, becoz, it showed me the funda/path of sleeping till 11:00 am in morning.. am not joking.. We do have flexi timings and we do slog sometimes, but we need to be in office for atleast 9 hrs. and lol, I come at 11, sit in office for 1-1.5 hrs, checking my mails, then go for lunch, come back only to feel like more sleepy, go back home (just 500 mtrs away from company) for a nap and then around 4 come back to work.. work,, that is the only thing one cannot find in here.. infact there r some ppl who resing from here coz they got bored of being on bench.. As far as I am concerned, it seems cool in the beginning, donno how long this will continue..
(Hoping the blog will never be read by my manager)..
Well, I can write a lot about this damn good company, but feeling like going home now.. yes, my friends guessed it right, for sleeping.. (yawn)..
